Congratulations to Madalyn Peterson, the 2022 PPAS Named Scholarship recipient! Maddie is attending the University of Kansas and studying Speech-Language-Hearing: Sciences and Disorders. She was a member of the Superintendent's Honor Roll, the Oklahoma Honor Society, the National Honor Society and was her class valedictorian.

Maddie's aspirations to become a Speech-Language Pathologist began at a young age, helping her cousin through his speech troubles. Maddie's mother works for Smith Dryden, a PPAS member.

"I am beyond grateful to be a recipient of this year's PPAS Scholarship, from an industry my mom has been a part of for 25 years. With the continued increase in expenses, this scholarship will help lighten the financial burden of attending college. The generosity and dedication of PPEF and PPAS ensures education is a priority. Thank you again for not only helping to make the college expenses less stressful for me, but for the many recipients this year!"
